M-café
You can visit the M-café for a drink and a bite to eat before, during or after your visit to the museum. There are two entrances to M-café, one inside the museum and another separate entrance in Savoystraat. Thus, you do not need a museum ticket to get into the M-café.
Local beers
The M-café mainly serves a variety of local dishes and beer. The menu of the café features an extensive range of local beers and liqueurs. Every Friday evening from October to May, a beer connoisseur will guide you through the range of local beers in ‘An Hour of Beer Culture’. We strongly recommend you try our house beer, Rogier, which was developed by the Leuven brewery Traagwater on the occasion of our inaugural exhibition 'Rogier van der Weyden. The Master of Passions' in September 2009.
Schools
School groups may bring their own lunches on the condition that they purchase at least one drink per person (soft drinks: € 2). Due to space restrictions, school groups can only bring a maximum of 26 children at a time. If they bring their own lunch, they are welcome to sit in the café area on the ground floor. Prior reservation is required.
Catering
We have tailor-made menus for groups of more than 12 people, businesses or associations. Please inform us of your concept/idea, the date of your visit, a budget estimate and the number of guests. M-café will contact you as soon as possible. For more information, please consult the M-café website.
