M offers various ways to discover the permanent and temporary exhibitions. Do you like audio guides or do you prefer to explore whilst reading an information pamphlet? Do you only need a floor plan or would you like to discuss the art with an experienced guide? Below, you will find an overview of the various guides you may use to get the most out of your visit.

Information texts

The M-collection and the temporary exhibitions are presented with standard information texts in Dutch, French and English. German and Spanish texts are available in a folder. Please ask for the folder at the reception desk.

Audio guide

The audio guide to the permanent collection is provided in Dutch, French, English (€ 2) and German (€ 1).

Walking guide

You may purchase a walking guide for the M-collection at the reception desk for € 2,5.
It presents two permanent sections of the museum: M - Museum Leuven and M - Treasury of St. Peter’s. The guide provides an overview of all the highlights in the museum and information texts about the works.

Publications

You will find various publications about the M-collection at the M-shop. In addition, there is also a varying selection of publications related to the temporary exhibitions.

Guided Tour

If you would prefer to discover the museum with the assistance of an experienced guide, M provides various guided tours, museum games and workshops, tailor-made for both young and old. They provide explanations about the various parts of M: the M collection, the temporary exhibitions and the architecture.
