Facilities for families with children
M warmly welcomes families with children. There are folding stools available for children to sit on if they are tired. Buggies are allowed in the galleries - you can borrow one from the buggy point near M. The museum’s toilets are equipped with baby changing facilities.
For the 'Experience Bouts' exhibition in St Peter’s Church, we’ve also designed a family trail. There are two versions: one for families with children aged 4 to 6, and another for those aged 7 and up. The family trail is available in Dutch, English and French.

Café and shop
During M’s opening hours, everyone is welcome at our coffee bar and shop: Barbóék in M.
You can browse for museum souvenirs, as well as art books and publications related to M’s exhibitions. And of course, it’s the perfect spot to enjoy a cup of coffee and a slice of cake while chatting about your museum visit. As an M-art patron, you receive a 10% discount on shop items.
The space is fully wheelchair accessible.

Garden
During M’s opening hours everyone is welcome to visit the museum's garden. You can come and have a picnic, relax or soak up the sun - whatever you want. In the summer, we even put our beach chairs outside.
For children, there is a climbing wall and a barefoot path. On summer weekends there is the Museumspelstraat: then we provide life-size toys and organise guided activities in the garden together with Huis van het Kind.
There are also regular events held in our garden.
