Guided tour of ‘DIERIC BOUTS.'

Have you heard of Dieric Bouts? 600 years ago, he painted masterpiece after masterpiece in his Leuven studio. In the autumn of 2023, M is dedicating a major retrospective to this Flemish Master: ‘DIERIC BOUTS. Creator of Images’. Never before have so many of Bouts’ works been assembled in his hometown.

An exhibition focusing on visual culture, both historic and contemporary.

Dieric Bouts was the image-maker of his era. Which is why we are bringing his works into confrontation with their contemporary equivalents: cartoons, posters, advertising, sports and celebrity photography, film and games.
