About the exhibition ‘ANAMESA’
With a background in architecture and visual art, Nefeli Papadimouli has developed a multifaceted practice spanning sculpture, installation, performance and video. Drawing inspiration from phenomenology, feminism and political theory, she explores how distance, proximity and movement play an essential role in processes of coexistence, social conflict, negotiation and equilibrium.
‘Anamesa’ evokes a state of being somewhere in between: between body and architecture, individual and collective identities, and sculpture and performance. Through modular installations and monumental textile sculptures, Papadimouli creates spaces for encounter that invite new forms of interaction, transformation and shared experience.
