Last year, we were able to borrow two private collections, accounting for 142 works of art. This happens quite often: many of the pieces in M’s collection once adorned the interiors of private homes. These works, ranging from medieval sculptures and 17th-century landscape paintings to modernist prints, are now on display for the first time in ‘Art that Moves’. And we will also officially kick off M resident Brahim Tall's presentation then.Reason enough for a celebration!

About 'Art that Moves'

What inspires a collector to bring art into their home? How does it feel to be surrounded by art on a daily basis? And ultimately, what journey do these artworks take before finding their place in a museum? In ‘Art that Moves’, we unite a museum display with the intimate ambiance of a domestic interior, inviting you to feel completely at home amidst the art.
